I’m Headed to Uruguay to Explore Tannat
I’m headed to Uruguay tomorrow to taste and learn all about Tannat. I’ve tasted Tannat before, but now I get to explore various soils where it’s grown. For me being in a vineyard puts my mind and my palate. The aspect of having wine with the food of the location is why I always say to people “wine goes with food.” Needless to say I’m stoked. I’m happy to visit Bodega Garzòn, the legendary winery from Francis Mallmann.
