Wine Review: Fiction Wines

Fiction Wines

My book to-be read list is always growing. It seems like every day I am confronted with a new book and a new bottle of wine. It's not like I planned to match my new book with a bottle of wine, but it happened. It just worked. Crazy, I know. Lately, I've been branching out on the wine I've been sipping and the books I've been reading.

Although the temperatures are still playing tricks on me and I just can't on temperature principle pull out my rosé wine, I am trying wines other than big, tannic and powerful reds I love. Yes, those are my favorite, but I wanted to try a few wines that I normally wouldn't sip. I went to one of my favorite local wine stores and decided to pick my wine based on the label. Yep, if it's pretty...I want to drink it. This led me to Fiction Wines from Paso Robles.

If you read my last post on All About the Pretty you know I paired this wine with my current book, The Ramblers. I sipped this with a yummy salad from Sweetgreen and could not have been more pleased. It's not too heavy or overpowering on the palate. Although the weather will eventually warm up (let's keep hope alive it is sooner rather than later), I am happy that this wine made its way into the beauty arsenal.

Yes, wine is as beautiful as my new Becca blush.
