I hope your weekend was cool and relaxing. I hunkered down inside to avoid the DC heatwave and it was just what I needed. I finished a book, started a new book, and took a long nap. I tell you nothing beats a nap on the weekend. Here are a few of the things I'm loving this week.
Linda Rodin Lavender Absolute Face Oil. I didn't know this existed until my friend Kimberly emailed me with an "ooh la la" update. I am a huge fan of her regular face oil although the scent is strong and takes some getting used to. This one doesn't. It's a great mix of oils and she has done the work of combining all of them so I don't have to. I adore her style and everything about her. I mean she does not apologize for being absolutely Linda and I love it.
Casey Flat Ranch Estate Red Wine. As a wine girl, I always see the correlation of beauty and wine. Wine consists of notes that help determine flavors and this red wine has notes of lavender and licorice. This wine is made in the Bordeaux style and is big, full of flavor, and delicious if you can find the 2012 red wine. Beauty has different ingredients that work and make us feel pretty. They are one and the same. Wine + beauty = a perfect combination.
SKII Anti-Aging Set. This is a Nordstrom Beauty Exclusive as part of their anniversary sale and I'm a sucker for SKII. Their sheet masks are a few of my favorites out there because I can immediately see the difference when I take it off. The New Age Cream is great at night to help you wake up looking rested.
