Bantam King is the follow-up ramen restaurant by the team from Daikaya. The new shop is located around the corner from Daikaya. Bantam King takes ramen and focuses the main ingredient on chicken. The broths are flavorful and have varying degrees of thickness. The simple, but powerful menu has vegetarian options, and a family sized fried chicken dinner that I plan to try soon.
I decided after having the Shoyu Tori Paitan Ramen with Nitamago Egg there is no need to make chicken noodle soup ever again. It’s that good. The restaurant is simple and takes their design from the traditional Japanese ramen shops. You don’t always need fancy to have good food. Be patient. The lines will be long, but worth the wait.
